All admitted NMSU system students can apply for scholarships on Scholar Dollar$.  To access Scholar Dollar$ click here

Scholarships

The scholarships listed below require that a student must complete at least 12 credit hours at the New Mexico State Univeristy main campus in Las Cruces must apply through Scholar Dollar$

 

Danny Villanueva Scholarship 

Students must have demonstrated community involvement and leadership ability. A 2.5 gpa minimum. Amount $1,500.00

 

Hispanic Faculty/Staff Caucus Scholarship 

Available to undergraduate and graduate students. Amount: $1,500.00
 

Dr.Narcisa Zarate Scholarship 

Available for undergraduate and graduate students, graduates from NM high schools only. Amount: In-state tuition for one semester

Jose A. Garcia Memorial Endowed Scholarship

Annual award for Hispanic students from any major or classification. Amount: $500
 

Scholarships for Undocumented Students:

DACA students can look for scholarships that do not have requirements for U.S. citizenship or permanent Resident status.
